Transforming Social Work
The mission of Café Social Work will be to increase the presence of minority and underrepresented individuals who are currently practicing in the field and also those who are interested in learning more about the Social Work Profession. This will be done through mentoring, supervision, support and networking.
A modern approach
Café Social Work’s focus is reaching minority, underrepresented individuals who are currently practicing in the field. We will reach students at all levels, high school seniors, associate, bachelor and master level students who would benefit from the support and expertise of Café Social Work.
What We Offer
Mentoring /Tutoring Session
Cafe’ Social Work offers individual sessions for the LMSW and LCSW exam. The individual sessions are weekly for 1-hour primarily working on exam questions, how to understand it, how to pull it apart, choose keywords, that would guide you to the correct answer and lead to exam success.
Clinical Supervision Hours
Cafe’ Social Work is certified by NASW to provide clinical supervision to obtain required hours for licensure. We offer both 1 to 1 or group supervision tailored to the need of each client.
